Bitrate is a sans serif typeface created by Kris Sowersby and released through Klim Type Foundry in 2011. The design was inspired by the work of Paul Renner, particularly his Futura typeface. Bitrate is available in five weights—light, regular, medium, bold, and black—each with matching italics.
Bitrate is a great choice for headlines, display text, and body copy. The light weight is perfect for setting large amounts of text, while the heavier weights are ideal for headlines and short blocks of text. The italics have a slight slant that gives them a lively feel.
